The listening stations featured works by
sound artists Bernard Clarke and
Jonathan Nelson.

Among the sound works were Clarke’s
“not yet,” a lively and inventive reading of
page one of the
Wake and “thin lips, hair
erect, loose carriage,”  a portrait of James
Joyce based upon interviews culled from
the archives of RTÉ, Ireland’s National
Radio Broadcaster.

Nelson’s “House of the Haunted Ink
Bottle” is a sound collage consisting of
hundreds of vocal fragments that form a
reading of pages 182-184 of
Finnegans
Wake.
On view were a selection of Kelley’s
collage-per-page of the Wake and all of
her artists books related to pages one
through 216 of the text.
